Drupal Custom Logout Page I had a client the other day that wanted a custom logout screen to display for his users on his site, which I built on the Drupal CMS. Normally, Drupal will send you to the front page on logout. The solution is very easy, and I thought I should share it: 1) Create a new node (page, etc.) that will display your log out message. Make a note of the address. 2) Create a new link or menu item called "Log out". I usually disable the existing Log Out menu item on Navigation and create my own custom Log Out menu item. 3) Link to the log-out call and include the logout page in the link: logout&destination=goodbye or logout&destination=node/723 Please note that this assumes you have Clean URLs turned on... if not, then you will want to write the link with the node?= bit. GREAT IDEA! Use the log out page to advertise a special deal to your members, let them know about upcoming events (you could even send them to the events page) or ask them to invite friends. Don't just leave the space blank - entice your users to do something!
