Automatic Blogs With the rise of RSS, many people have found ways to take RSS feeds and automatically populate their websites and blogs. I have set up numerous automatic blogs this way. You can find the add on modules for most popular types of blogs and CMS systems : wordpress, drupal, etc. What about duplicate content? Heres the trick : Google and many search engines will not rank your page if it has "duplicate content." Duplicate content means that over 85% of the page content has appeared somewhere else already. With an automatic blog, ALL of your content is duplicated. What you need to do is to edit the post or comment on it. Make sure that your comments are relevant, useful and at least 20-30% of the length of the original. This should provide you with a nice cushion to prevent the page from being ignored. Often, blog writers have trouble coming up with topics to write about. This strategy solves the problem by allow the site owner to simply respond and comment on the news/updates they have setup. This can be done instead of, or even better, in addition to regular blog entries or content creation.
